Recognizing the need to preserve the environment, Lynn Langmead pursued her studies and volunteer work in a determined and focused direction. Lynn's photography was recognized at an early age and was awarded a photography scholarship to Sam Houston State University. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science majoring in criminal law and environmental science, believing her studies would compliment her interest in wildlife preservation.

Lynn's extensive environmental volunteer work has included assisting at the Texas Marine Mammals Stranding Network, the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge and Texas Parks and Wildlife. Just recently, Lynn went to Mexico and was involved in rescuing eight African lions that were bred in captivity and due to be euthanized. With the help of a team of volunteers, she transported the animals to a wildlife refuge in the United States.

Her annual photography trips to Kenya have raised awareness and educated others to the global threats of wildlife endangerment. Lynn's work has gained recognition in several national calendars and the National Photography Institute. Through her work, her passion and life goal is to educate children in the importance of the preservation and protection of the environment and global wildlife.

Upon request, she is available for speaking engagements at schools.
